These terms cover using the Alien Rockstars app and website. Using them means you agree to what is below.
What you get
A free part of the app, and an optional one-off purchase called Backstage that unlocks the rest of the pages and features. Backstage is a single payment, not a subscription. Nothing renews and nothing recurs.
The artwork is ours
Every illustration, character, page and name in the app is original work owned by Yvonne Mojica. The music is used under a commercial licence. Buying Backstage gives you permission to use the app, not ownership of the artwork.
You may not resell the pages, distribute them as your own, use them in commercial products, or feed them into a machine-learning training set.
What you make is yours
The coloring you do and the looks you design are yours. Print them, frame them, post them, give them away. If you share one publicly, a mention of Alien Rockstars is very much appreciated but not required.
The underlying line art stays ours — so a colored page is yours to enjoy and share, but the uncolored artwork is not yours to sell on.
Your device does the work
The app runs in your browser and stores your work on your own device. That means we cannot recover it for you. Clearing your browser data, switching devices or using a private window will lose anything not saved elsewhere. Save the pictures that matter to you.
Fair use of the app
Please do not attempt to bypass the Backstage lock, copy the app, extract the artwork or music for redistribution, or interfere with the site. Doing so ends your permission to use it.
Your Backstage unlock code is for you and your household, on as many of your own devices as you like. Please do not post it publicly, pass it around or resell it. Codes that turn up in public get retired, which is a nuisance for everyone who paid honestly.
Children and parents
The app is intended for family use. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms and make any purchase.
No promises about perfection
The app is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running well, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of faults or available without interruption, and we are not liable for lost artwork or other losses arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.
